Off all of the food cities in the US, Conde Nast has placed Cape May in at #19. While locals and vacationers of the area have known this little secret for years, it is great to see national recognition for our shore town.
Unsurprisingly, seafood is a big draw:The Lobster House, which faces Cape May Harbor, is a perennial favorite for its fresh catch and its outdoor cocktail bar, located on a repurposed schooner. And don’t miss The Mad Batter in the Carol Villa Hotel, known for its eclectic dining room and delicious brunch.
If you plan to vacation in Cape May or in one of the other area shore towns, you will want to make sure you set aside some time for a great meal.
